What is Escin4Steps?

ESCin4Steps is a website developed by the Sustainable Development Association with its own resources in 2022, designed to accelerate the application processes and support all stakeholders in the process by analyzing the needs of young people who want to participate in the European Solidarity Program (ESC) and sending/hosting organizations. It aims to bring young people to ESC opportunities and detailed information about the program in 4 steps.

Who we are?

Building on the Millenium Development Goals (MDG) and the future promised by the SDGs, Sustainable Development Association (SDA) was established in Ankara to support the rights-based work to take the necessary steps to have sustainable development in Turkey with a holistic approach. Therefore, our general work areas are; fight against poverty and hunger, quality education, gender equality, reduction of inequalities, sustainable cities, and living areas, reneweble energy, responsible consumption and production, health, climate action, conflict prevention, peace and justice, partnerships with various stakeholders for the goals as mentioned above.

SDA works with women, children, youth, elderly, including but not limited to the disabled, the long-term unemployed, refugees/asylum seekers/immigrants/nomads/displaced persons, poor or at risk of poverty, ex-convicts or detainees, survivors of violence or abuse against women, individuals staying in shelters, homeless, seasonal agricultural workers, other disadvantaged groups who face discrimination or prejudice in accessing the social sphere or economic market.

Easy application to all postings with the created profile.
To follow the application status from the user profile page
To view the postings and profiles of interested sender/host organizations on a single page

For sending/hosting organizations:

Simple sign up process and user friendly interface
Opportunity to ask participants questions within the opportunity ad
Keeping track of the number of applications received for the postings
Ability to send information about the evaluation stages to the participants via the portal
